It’s hard to imagine that just one year ago these dogs were sleeping in squalor, neglected, and living in the dangerous and abusive world of dogfighting. Now, just 365 days later, their transformation is simply amazing.

Over 367 dogs were rescued from a national dogfighting ring that spanned across Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. Members of local law enforcement, the national Humane Society and countless volunteers took these dogs in, gave them the love, medical care, and the safe environment they needed to become the dogs that were buried inside of their hardened and scared exterior.
