Wow. This is one of the most touching, heartbreaking and, ultimately, heartwarming tales I’ve ever heard. When she was finally rescued, it was discovered that Starfish was so badly abused by her previous owners that she had just about every health condition you can think of — a shattered skull, dehydration, rotting teeth, broken tail, nearly deaf and blind — the list goes on.
