Bess is an adorable puppy who was rescued from a kill-shelter after wandering the streets as a stray. Immediately, the people who came to pick her up noticed a horrible burn all over her body, which they could only assume was the result of abuse. But this little pup has a warrior spirit, and when her new dad locked eyes with her the very first time, he was in love. Bess now lives a very happy life, and is 100% healthy – though she may always have burn scars, she’s still beautiful to everyone who knows her… and to me!
