Rosie, a pit bull mix, was stuck at a shelter in Nebraska for a few months, unable to communicate her wants and needs very well because of being born deaf. But after one of the shelter workers taught her a few simple gestures, Rosie started to come out of her shell and was able to let people know what she needed.
