Danny was one of 30 dogs who were rescued from a “hoarding situation” in central Texas. By the time vets at the shelter where he was brought were able to look at him, they realized that this sweet, shy dog was losing his sight.

After a vet offered to do the surgery for free, the humane society still needed $25,000 in medical costs covered, something they couldn’t do on their own. Luckily, the community around them rallied for Danny, and the donations exceeded what the shelter asked for.
