Bentley the bulldog was born with Spina Bifida, a spinal chord and neurological disorder that can be fatal. He was found on Christmas day in a box outside the East Vally animal shelter. For two years, shelter volunteers looked after him while family after family overlooked him because of his disability.

When Wendy Rodriguez went online to adopt a pet, she never imagined she find a pet like Bentley – the two of them share the exact same disease.

A big congratulations to Jiff, an adorable Pomeranian who just snagged two top spots in the 60th anniversary edition of the world famous Guinness World Records Book!! Jiffy earned the awards for not only being the fastest dog on hind legs but also the fastest dogs on front paws!!

Jiff, who lives in Los Angeles, was able to walk 10 meters on his hind legs in 6.56 seconds and 5 meters on his front paws in 7.76 seconds!

Not only is this dog adorable but he is also very, very talented! Congratulations Jiffy!!

On August 26th, Pedigree has issued a voluntary recall of 22 bags of PEDIGREE® Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food due to the possible presence of small metal fragments. Pedigree states that while the foreign objects are not embedded in the food, their presence may present a risk and has chosen to recall the affected bags.

In this amazing footage, you can see four or five Houston firefighters crouched around a tire, desperately trying to free a little puppy who’s somehow gotten his head lodged in there!

Working quickly, but gently, they are able to calm him down enough to finally pry the tire apart, and no one looks more relieved than the little puppy himself once he’s finally out!

I’m not sure how he got himself in there, but luckily, firemen are still equipped to save our pets whenever we need them!
