Police officers and their canine companions from across Oklahoma paid their respects to a 3-year-old K-9 named Kye who was laid to rest earlier this week.

Kye, who received full-honors for his service, was killed in the line of duty attempting to take down a burglary suspect in Oklahoma City. According to reports, Kye was stabbed multiple times by the suspect and then went into cardiac arrest at the scene.

Debby Cantlon is the first person her friends think of when they encounter an animal in need. For most of her life, people have came to Debby to seek help when they encounter a lost or injured animal, as she has always enjoyed helping living creatures.

When their favorite toy, a tire, floated to the bottom of the family swimming pool, these two dogs were more than distraught. They needed their toy back and they were not going to let a little water get in their way.
