The power of dogs is simply unbelievable, and this video proves it. A woman’s father has Alzheimers and lost his speech nearly entirely due to the terrible disease. When he’s with his daughter’s dog, however, the most amazing thing happens — he gains his speech back, and communicates with the pup more clearly than with anyone else. Here he is, talking to his friend in one of the most heartwarming and touching videos I’ve ever seen.

Dogs are such precious gifts, and this brought a tear to my eye.

This is so cute! Little Chihuahua puppy Frisco has found a favorite new bed – right on top of his big Boxer brother! So soft… so comfy! LOL! When their owner walked into the room, he found Frisco trying to make himself comfortable, and his brother doesn’t seem to matter one bit. They have a great relationship, don’t they?!

I love the dynamic between big and little dogs… they may look completely different, but their hearts are definitely aligned in all the right places. I could watch these two snooze for hours!

Incredible footage filmed during the aftermath of the Japanese tsunamis. At first, helicopters surveying the area thought that there were two people, until they got closer and realized they were dogs.

The two dogs were rescued shortly after the news crew discovered them. We’re so thankful that they are safe.

Adoption can shape the most beautiful families – just look at this ‘motley crew’ of rescue animals!

Meet Macho, Rex, Maya, Dave, Bella, Twiggy (a rescue cat, not present in the vid) and another special rescue – George! You have to wait until 1:13 to meet George in the flesh, and when he finally pops out of the kitchen, I squealed with joy.

It’s clear this is one happy family, and I’m so happy Erica Griffith has devoted herself to giving animals a second chance at life.

When the rescue organization Two Hands Four Paws met Kenny the Doberman, he was paralyzed with a spine that was severely damaged. While most experts said Kenny would never walk again and should be euthanized, Two Hands Four Paws didn’t give up on him.
