After giving birth and raising her own litter of puppies, Shadow the German Shepherd decided to “adopt” one of the newest members of the family.

When the family brought home a new baby pigmy goat, the dog curled up next to it like it was her own. The mama dog adorably watches over the goat, giving it a bath and making sure it is safe. A terrifying rescue of a dog running loose on the 710 Freeway in Los Angeles had viewers on the edge of their seats as the dramatic footage was caught on live TV.

Just after 6 p.m., a black dog was spotted running in and out of rush hour traffic. The scene, which was captured by a local traffic reporter, caused drivers to slow down and some even attempted to use their cars as barricades to protect the pooch.

Steven Krichbaum was walking through the George Washington National Forest with his yellow lab mix Henry, when the two suddenly came upon a mother bear and her two cubs.
