What is it about the toilet bowl that gets some dogs to go absolutely wild? It is the sound? The water? The spinning? Whatever it is, toilets can make dogs do some of the weirdest things!

Just watch what this pug does every time his owners flush the toilet, as soon as the handle is pulled the dog goes into full on spin cycle! It’s almost as if he can’t control himself and just goes completely bonkers until the toilet has stopped!!

While out on a routine exercise off the coast of England, volunteers from The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RLNI) spotted a dog stranded on a ledge at the base of some of the country’s highest sea cliffs. There was no way the dog could move to higher ground due to the sheer steepness of the cliffs. Without missing a beat, volunteers sprung into action and headed straight for the pup.

It took a little maneuvering but rescuers were finally able to climb onto the cliff and bring the dog safely back to the boat.

Rosie the Bulldog was rescued by the Illinois English Bulldog Rescue after she’d spent the beginning of her life at a terrible puppy mill breeder. Rosie has a heart condition called a VSD (Ventral Septal Defect), which means there is a hole between her left and right heart ventricles. The good news is Rosie was eventually adopted by loving parents and now lives with her best friend Daisy, another bulldog (also with a heart condition) from the same rescue organization!

U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Jonathan Cavender recently reunited his military dog Maxi, a 12-year-old Belgian Malinois with whom he served with for two years in Japan. He says, “From the moment I became her handler I knew that I wanted to be the one that gave her a loving home after all of her years of service.”

The reunion was made possible by American Humane Association and Mission K9 Rescue, the United States War Dog Association, and supporters of American Humane Association’s work to bring war dogs home from overseas.

It was a great day when the Humane Society of America stepped in and saved over 120 dogs from a horrible puppy mill in Tennessee. All of the animals were removed from the awful conditions and placed in clean holding facility until they can find new homes. Meet Charity, the world’s sweetest chihuahua! Even though she is confined to a wheelchair, she is the freest, happiest little dog I have ever seen!
