Besides being a lifestyle entertainment stop, furLifeLiving is working to build a sanctuary for the pets of people in transition.  These people have lost their jobs and are experiencing financial hardship, or they have been displaced because of a natural disaster and need to look to the shelter system after losing their homes. This group will also include the sick and/or elderly and soldiers being deployed.

All of these families need a safe place to keep their pets (with no added expense) without fear of the pets being re-homed or killed.  Ultimately, we would like to raise enough money through corporate sponsors and a Kickstarter campaign to get funding to build a ranch or facility that can house these animals, with possible locations in different cities over time.

This is an underserved community of people who have no humane options for their fur family when they are going through difficult times.  We want this sanctuary to be a respite for the animals and ultimately for the families who are worrying about where their furry loved ones will go.  Once the families are ready, stable, and able to take their pets home, we want to assure them that they will be able to have their pets returned to them.  We also want to allow the families normal visitation if they live in the area and 24/7 video-streaming access so they can see their pets as much as they desire.
