For nine months, Emmitt Thunderpaws waited patiently for his military dad and best friend to return home from deployment. When dad finally returned home, you can imagine just how understandably excited this massive Great Dane was to see him!

This dog welcoming home his soldier dad made me so happy. Nothing is better than a special moment like this! The cutest part might be when Emmitt gets so excited to see dad right before he gets outside. If this video doesn’t make you smile, nothing will!
