Before this Airman left for deployment, he and his wife adopted Emma, a special needs puppy with a severe birth defect. Emma was heartbroken when her dad. Her mom says that Emma usually sits at the end of the hallway when she comes home, but here we see the very moment Emma is reunited with her dad after six months – and instead of waiting in the hallway, she pulls herself to the door to welcome him home.
