Gertie is not only adorable, but her story is truly touching. As you can see, Gertie has a cleft palate. Not only was she born a little different than the rest, but she was also found in a dumpster at just one-day-old. But don’t worry – what was once a tragic beginning has an incredible end. Gertie was quickly adopted after being rescued, and she’s been an integral part of a loving home ever since.
