Bubbles the elephant was orphaned after her family was killed by ivory poachers. She was saved, and brought to the Myrtle Beach Safari in South Carolina, where she slowly found her footing again. Bella the dog came to the Myrtle Beach Safari after a contractor who was working on a pool for Bubbles left her there and never came back. Seeming to sense that Bella needed a friend just as much as she did, Bubbles began to interact with the dog, and the pair soon became inseparable!
