Duke was chained up — for five years — and by the time he was found and finally rescued, he was on the brink of death. Left with little-to-no food and water, Duke was so weak he could barely lift the chain to move around.

He was rescued in Greece by the Ilioupolis Animal Welfare Union, where was also treated for dirofilaria, or roundworms.

Flash forward, and Duke is about the happiest dog you’ll ever see. He’s doubled in weight, he’s extremely playful and he loves his human companions. The best part? Duke has been adopted into a loving forever home. Watching …read more
