Sometimes in life, a brief encounter with someone special can change the course of a person’s life forever.

When New York City based Second Chance Rescue picked up Lexi, a one-eyed, gentle Pit Bull who was close to dying, the team their was blessed with one of these life-changing encounters. Although it’s difficult to know why Lexi was abandoned, her rescuers assume it’s because her medical problems had become to much for them to handle.
