Kobu the Saluki/Shepherd mix was recently rescued off the streets of Taiwan, and flown several thousands of miles to a new foster family in Canada. In this sweet video, Kobu is opening a present for the very first time – and finally having a toy of his very own to play with!

I love videos like these because they remind everyone how important adoption is. Every animal deserves a happy life, and when you welcome an animal who’s lived on the streets into your home, you’re giving them a new chance to thrive!
