Although Turkey is not one of the largest countries in the world, it is one of the most densely populated… and it has one of the worst stray dog and cat problems in Europe. In Turkey’s biggest city, Istanbul, which has a population of a whopping 14 million people, there are more than 150,000 stray cats and dogs roaming the streets without food, water, shelter and love.
