When His House Went Up In Flames, His Rescue Pit Bull Did Something That Surprised Everyone.

A rescued pit bull is being hailed a hero after he saved his owner from a house fire.

Jacob Martin was fast asleep when his house caught fire in the middle of the night on Aug. 31. But his pit bull Buddy started barking loudly and woke him up just in time to escape. Buddy seemed to be returning a favor: Martin had only adopted the dog a month and a half ago.

“Buddy is the best dog I ever had, great dog and good company,” Martin told Fox8.
